About

Colleen Cunningham

Owner and Founder

 Colleen is a dedicated child development consultant who has been helping young children and families for 20 years. With her own experience of learning disabilities, Colleen has a unique perspective that helps parents and educators understand their child's needs better.


Colleen holds a bachelor's degree in Child Development & Family Relations, with a minor in Educational Psychology, and has worked in various roles, including early intervention services, teaching, nannying, camp counseling, babysitting, and coaching. She also has several certifications, including Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification, and State and Federal clearances.


Colleen has completed her Self-Reg Early Childhood Development Certification and is verified by The Pennsylvania Keys (OCDEL) for quality assurance. Colleen is a certified Parent Coach through Baby Planner University.


As the founder of Child In Mind Consulting LLC, Colleen is committed to supporting children and their families. She is actively involved in volunteer work, serving as a Big Sister with Big Brothers and Sisters in Pittsburgh and a member of the Organization of the Playful Pittsburgh Collaborative.
